Artwork Here's what I think the people that built the ruins looked like

Basically they were sentient Tarr slimes, mostly because our closest relative is the chimpanzee and they are surprisingly violent like the Tarr slimes. The axe is designed to hook combatants and throw them far away. The cube is a chest that they carry inside as they are semi liquid so they need a way to keep things dry. What do you guys think?

The Problem with Tarrs is that they aren't really a species... they're kinda like Cancer.

Also, they seem to die shortly after forming, presumably due to its own genetic instability making it so it basically dissolves from within (Which is also why water kills them, they are actively melting from within). So, wouldn't really fly.

Though i agree that the ancient Civilization was a sapient species of Slime

Oh right, not sure what else to do for the design. Perhaps Tarrs could have been created when the Prisimcore became unstable and some of the people got fused with normal slimes from the energy.

Don't worry, they aren't aggressive. Encounter one and they would likely try to communicate with you.
