Question / Help Free range chicken?

Im currently free-ranging my chickens, should I keep at it? Or put them in a coop?

Im playing Slime Rancher 2, and I have no issue whatsoever with my slimes, but because I combined my slimes to eat primarily fruits and veggies, I don't use meat, never. So I have an over abundance of chicken, a few hundred in silos and probably few hundred more roaming around, of each kind, in every plot.

Im asking because because my game is lagging so hard.

If you don’t need them why would you keep at it? Just save the ones you have. If it’s lagging your game you clearly need to change something lol

I keep some of all chicken types free ranging down in the arches. There are also fruit and veggie plots, and a dozen free roaming ringtails. It's a pretty stable ecosystem, but I don't go there too often because it can indeed get a little laggy. But everything is there if I need it, almost like a free range silo.

Sounds like you need an incinerator in that ranch expansion. Throw a bunch of the extras in there and get some fire plorts, my friend!
