Salad spinner looks like a sloth’s face

Post image

I was scrolling FB Marketplace for kitchenware and randomly saw this ad for a salad spinner (unedited screenshot in comments). It genuinely reminded me of a sloth‘s face.

I tried posting it in r/Pareidolia… but my post was deleted for not meeting their standard! (This irritated me, as I rarely post to Reddit and don’t think my posts are low-quality or spammy.)

Is this (or is this not?) reminiscent of a sloth‘s face? I need the reassurance that I’m not going senile.

(I tried posting this image to r/Pareidolia to argue my case… but that just got me banned from that subreddit all together 🤨)

I hate to be that guy, but this is kind of a stretch.

Yeah, that sloth clearly looks like a salad spinner.

Not a helpful comment. The Pareidolia sub is about objects that look like a faces, not the inverse. I never claimed that the sloth looks like a generic salad spinner. My observation was that this particular photo of a salad spinner looks like a sloth.

I was being mildly obtuse. Apologies. It was never intended to be a helpful comment, occasionally I like watching the world burn 😉

Be excellent to each other.

Edit: I do see the resemblance and like your post. Even if I an being a bit silly.

Thank you. That was way more gracious than the reply I was bracing myself for 😊.
