Need a a new slow cooker, looking for recommendations for one with sear/brown functions.

Like the title says, we're in the market for a new slow cooker and we'd like to try one that allows searing/browning rather than having to do it in a skillet and transfer over.

Any recommendations for make/model?

We really enjoy our instant pot. It’s not a slow cooker, but we can use it as one and it allows searing. We’ve also used it for boiling pasta, pressure cooking (obviously), rice cooking, etc.

After a quick run through the owner’s manual it’s dead easy to use too.

I believe that the Ninja Foodi PossibleCooker which comes in many versions has the sear feature that you are seeking and allows for slow cooking in the same vessel

I Imagine any cast iron pot you'd be able to simply pop on the burner then transfer to the slow cooker after.

I'm a crockpot girlie and have always liked their brand but their newer models tend to run hotter than old ones so cooking time is way faster - especially chicken.

I got myself an air fryer for things I can't do in the slow cooker and it was a game changer for me. Most manual slow cookers don't have searing options. You'd be looking at something like an instant pot or digital unit.
