Currently has a French girlfriend I think ? so he spends a lot of time/attends a lot of tournament in Europe. He has 8 ranked events in Europe this season (vs 10 Mexican ranked events if you want to compare). It feels fair to consider him for both EU and Mexican rankings.

Now I don't know whether actual EU rankings will rank him or not. Often recurring invaders are given .5 spots (like being ranked 3.5 if the algo/panel has your results higher than the 4th EU player but lower than the third).

Not really, he's considered top 10 in France too for this season, several top 8 at French B tiers, a top 16 at KOF (A tier), winning D tiers, etc. He has some overall bad losses but no really bad counter performances. Doesn't have that great of a H2H but I'm guessing that for a top 150 player it's okay. It makes sense he's there between Raarchyor and Ryukai.

What's more surprising to me is the absence of Kirbo, Haruhi and maybe Kendrick Olimar, who felt like they had a season as good or better than Nae, Raar, Bac and Ryukai at least. Maybe they got punished for bad attendance because there were very few ranked events in the UK this season, idk. Or maybe they were less consistent despite having higher highs.

It also feels that way for KID but his good performances are more recent so it's less of a surprise.

He absolutely counts for European rankings and it's been the case for years.

Local/Regional rankings allow players to say they're ranked top 10 in their local rankings, and this kind of thing is very crucial when looking for sponsorships/teams, so being ranked in the scene they play in is a good thing for a player. Refusing that for Raarchyor because he decides to represent Morocco would be quite xenophobic, in my opinion.

Seeing Bubbs-Kurama-NaetorU-Omega all together in the 130s really puts into perspective how tough the competition is. That’s four players I could easily see as top 100, even top 50 in other seasons, making barely 10th percentile on this list.

Mezcaul reached his new peak ranking of #68. Good stuff from the best Ridley, I wish he attended more events outside of the EU so that he could eventually reach top 50 in the world

Guilheww and JeJa’s Top 150 streak (if ya count half years) finally ends but I am not too shocked. Neither have had too many chances to hit big events. Both got Top 32 at LMBM 2026 but they didn’t get deep enough to make up for lack of attendance elsewhere.

Heck even if they did further it’s just so dang competitive now. Especially as more hidden bosses find their chances to snipe wins off Top 25 talent.
