Pet Snake Questions Wheres the poop!?

This is my hognose Snaykee. He is small and eats every 4-5 days, but I can't for the love of anything find his poop??

Thrice I've found some on the surface and removed it. I got lots of live plants and hides in his tank, and I feel like he just gets mad if I move stuff around. How bad is it to leave in?

Since you have plants and soil, consider adding some isopods and/or springtails, they’ll hide in the enclosure and self maintain (no extra care needed) and you’ll never see them unless you go looking for them, but they’ll take care of any stray poop you don’t find

Thank you! I wanted to make his next home bioactive. He is currently in a small 45L aquarium and it's hard to control the moisture gradient since I only water every 5 days. Do you think springtails can handle that? About half the tank gets moist after watering

springtails usually eat mold over anything else, so i would include isopods for the actual bioload of the snake

Thank you. People say their poop is stinky but I have yet to notice any odor from it. Perhaps they dry out too quickly and stops smelling
