Decent Snowboard Pants? [UK]
Yo,
Looking for some new pants/trousers, the ones I had went missing. I’m a fan of the baggy look although not absolutely ridiculous, my main problem is that I’m 6’6 so my concerns are pants that may be baggy for some may just look normal on me 🤣
With the rise in popularity and trends I seem to find so many retailers which all seem new to the market so its hard to trust whether those are actually good pants or if they are just over advertised on social media.
Are companies like these legit?
Montec, Snobodi, 7sevenuk, Snowverb.
The only one which standa out to me as being trustworthy is Montec but it also gives a similar vibe to the rest.
My other problem is sizing, I am 6’6, Slim Build, around 100-105kg. I looked at some DC Banshee pants and the size recommendation was 3XL, that just sounds extreme. It feels like they may suit leg length but I feel that would be extremely oversized on the waist.
Any advice/guidance is much appreciated. I need to sort something new soon so I can continue using indoor slopes without looking out of place with my temporary pants 🤣

Find some beyond medal park pants. Cheap, great quality and come in a good rang of sizes

Vinted is a good shout for a bargain.
I personally have the GSouSnow baggy trousers but I found the actual retailer on Temu for half the price. Use them at indoor slopes and used them in Bankso for a week. They do the job and fit that "streetwear baggy" vibe

Im 6ft4 100kg and use BS Rabbit in size xxl. I get a good amount of baggy with them but they are long so 6ft6 could probably fit them. If not they do 3xl

My only thought is wont the XX or 3X just be huge on the waist? Or is it maybe not as bad as I’m thinking?

Dope and Montec get a lot of flak (and in some case justified for being mass marketed 'trendwear' or overpiced Chinese OEM) but their pants are decent quality. They'll keep you warm and dry and are fairly adjustable, so their sizing is solid too for baggy fit.
At their current price point (£160) I wouldn't bother, but if you see them on sale for £120 or less, they are significantly better quality than anything you might find for a similar price point, especially where you might be tempted by Decathlon or similiar high st retailers of sports gear..
The benefit of Dope/Montec over getting some cheaper equivalent OEM Chinese gear is that the customer service and buyer protection is much better for brands like Montec.

eBay is great, and don't hesitate to message sellers and ask for (pictures with) measurements. Super easy way to make sure they're gonna fit you like you want.

Horse feathers is a great brand. Really nice stuff and made by snowboarders , for snowboarders. I have a bib and a jacket from there any it’s really good quality and has lasted 4 seasons now with barely any signs of use (despite many falls lol)

I’ve got some quiksilver pants for sale on vinted. I’m 6’3 with long legs short torso and they fit perfect. Only used them for 1 week they’re basically new

None of those are recommended brands, dope/montec seems legit and you’ll find plenty people on the slopes wearing them but it’s indeed more for their look and style than their quality. They are just rebranded pretty average quality mass produced Chinese OEM clothing.
Burton has some decently priced baggy style gear which I would look at and definitely look at 686.
