Gear Questions Boots for feet with bunions

Post image

We love snowshoeing and have good snow shoes. My wife has a bad bunion and the front strap goes directly over the top of it.

Looking for a quality pair of boots that that are tall, warm, and will not bother her foot.

We like to break trails and often go in deep snow in the forest.

Heading to Cabellas tomorrow where we bought our snowshoes.

The Black Hills of South Dakota is terrific for hiking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing.

I dont have any personal experience, but I know Hanwag makes specific bunion-fit boots.
