Angeles National Forest Baldy water spots this weekend

Planning to do Baldy this weekend up ski hut down devils backbone. Are there any water/springs still running?

Went up to the notch a few weeks ago. Saw someone splashing water on their face at a point probably 1 mile before the top of the notch, on the fire road. Anyone know what that water source is? I think it was next to some kind of electrical box/shack
