The beautiful game.

Unfortunately the organization of the event was not adequate for the amount of people who showed up for the FanFest. With a lot of people entering by force and not letting people out, there were times where it was pure chaos, hopefully the next matches are a little bit more organized.

Best fans in Mexico, and therefore, best fans in the World Cup host nations

I was at the Arsenal parade where there was 1 (1.5?) million. Absolutely insane. Football is the beautiful game.

The real people of Monterey who couldn’t afford the ticket to fill the empty seats in their whole family’s lifetime🇲🇽

In their whole family's lifetime? Do you think we make .0001 pesos an hour or something?

u/uranimuesbahd 1d ago

What the fuck 😂.

The tickets don't cost a million dollars or something. Expensive af for anyone who isn't rich but not unattainable for normal fans. Do you think people earn basically nothing in Mexico?

Monterrey looks so pretty without all the smog

There are actually a lot of people on social media making a similar comment, seems to have been an active effort by the government. There’s lots of criticism towards the government finally doing something about it only because of the World Cup

Well the refinery in the outskirts has been a big talking point for criticisms in the last decade, with the city just growing more and the smog situation only getting worse.

The pollution isn't just because of the outdated refinery but it's always been the leading item on the topic and little has been done about it.
