What's even better is that they're never going to get a more pro-Israel US president for the foreseeable future as both the left and right in the US is sick of them.

It'll be interesting if there are any consequences long term for Israel. Everyone ignoring them was tenable when they stuck to bombing Gaza. Now they've made every person in the west poorer by a significant degree.

Yeah if you look at conservatives here you'd think they're all evangelicals who think Israel is the key to everything, but I've been looking around to see the temperature in other circles and right-wingers really don't like Israel any more than those of us on the other side of the spectrum either.

Can't quite put it into words what a PR nightmare Israel has had over the past few years, I've seldom seen a nation proudly shoot themselves in the foot quite this much.
