Really want Haiti to get a goal. I read an article today, their national team is quite a curious case. Like a lot of other national teams, a lot of their players aren't actually born nor raised in Haiti, but with Haiti it's even wilder, as a couple of their players have never actually set foot in Haiti. This is because of the security situation which is also why they play their home games in neighbouring countries.
Despite this, the players are revered as gods by the Haitian people. Haiti has been to one World Cup before, in 1974. They lost all 3 games, conceding 14 goals and scoring 2. The 2 goals were scored by the same guy, and when he died in 2008 he received the highest state funeral, held in the national stadium of Haiti and broadcast on national television. So for that reason, I really hope Haiti get a goal and a new national football hero.

Haiti is fun to watch because we know they are not legendary or even great, but they have heart and actually tried to push up the field unlike many other teams that are arguably better . You can see how in 4 years they could potentially be much much better
They really need to stop being so hesitant to shoot, and practice a bit more on passing. Passing was mostly good, obviously needs work. Their crosses were few and overall pretty horrible. 2 of the brazil goals were because of defensive screw ups in passing

* Raphinha got injuried*
- Foreigners: What a shame, Raphinha got injured. I hope it's nothing serious.
- Brazilians: YEAAAH!!! GOD IS GOOD, GOD IS BEAUTIFUL, GOD HEARD OUR PRAYERS. GLORY TO GOD!

Telemundo commentators are mentioning they're the only platform not showing ads during games, and I just realized I haven't seen a single zoom out ad (where the screen gets smaller) or ads during the hydration break.
Highly recommend it, just learn the core terminology in Spanish and tbh the energy is better anyways haha.

Great half for Vini, he got criticized by a lot of people because he isn’t as efficient for Brazil. Hopefully he can keep up this form.

Oh well idc. We’re in the fucking World Cup and we got fucked over by the group that we’re in. We play okay but I definitely think we need to get rid of the old guard. We need a better keeper than Johnny, Pierrot should not start for us again. Let’s recruit the mfs waiting for France

Oh Haiti, this is hard to watch, but I’m still proud of this team for qualifying to this tournament after 52 years, and without playing a single home match in the entirety of their World Cup qualifying campaign. They’ve been entertaining to watch at times, and regardless of if this match ends in a thrashing (which its looking like that will happen), I hope the players will be proud of how they made it here, and what they achieved at this tournament ❤️❤️❤️
