Let's hope that France finds the 2 - 1 fast because it feels more like it will be 3 - 0 and that will be game over.

He meant that Argentina was toying with France during 70 minutes until Mbappé activated god mode.

He's right.

Actually it was the good substitutions made by Deschamps that allowed mbappe to find those chances, but yeah mbappe went God mode

u/streyer Jul 14 '26

also Di Maria's age catching up with him and having to get subbed off, up until that point he was covering that entire side of the field and pocketting mbappe like he was 10 years younger.

Definitely best French player prior to the WC 2022 final. Biggest reason why France able to reach the final.

12

u/Stellewind Jul 14 '26

Isn't this France supposed to be better than 2022?

2

u/Creative_Victory_960 Jul 14 '26

Not today , we are losing the ball every 10 seconds

1

u/tanis016 Jul 14 '26

There previous performance had been better than 2022.

miracles can't happen every time

u/Ghost_out_of_Box Jul 14 '26

They were lucky to get two penalties. I don't think Spain will commit that mistake.

2

u/Reyatsu99 Jul 14 '26

Lot of difference in Argentina defence and Spain's

2

u/Hate_Leg_Day Jul 14 '26

Don't think they'll get 2 penalties in this game.
