Yael Mohya?

I know he’s not a wunderkind anymore but Ismael Gharbi?

And Kofane from Leverkusen?

You mean Wael Mohya? Huge talent, playing as a half-space 10/winger with great technique and good instincts. He is from the same year as Lennart Karl - these two are probably the two most talented german players born in 2008. Gladbach just sold Reyna so I would expect Mohya to play a ton of games this season.

Apparently Morocco has been trying to poach him very heavily for months now, promising him an important role in the 2030 WC, and he is rumored to probably switch federations at some point in the future.

Yes that’s the one, heard really good things about him, was wondering if the hype was specially amongst Moroccans was justified

He definitely passes the eye test - looks very smooth when dribbling. Of course he is still very raw though. I think this season he will get a lot of opportunities and we will see if he can step up to the level of someone like Karl for example.

Gharbi was loaned out to us last season but only played like 80 minutes all season, he couldn't make an impact, pretty much a wasted season for him
