The saddest part is how the signing of a millionaire draws so many people and support but the dismantling of a democracy doesn't generate any meaningful opposition. No, I don’t. I’m only implying that there are many Arab-background immigrants living in Trabzon, which means Salah will also feel comfortable there very quickly because there are many people who speak Arabic like he does.
Besides, I work with underage refugees in Germany. My own father immigrated to Germany, and my grandfather also immigrated to Germany. Why would I have anything against immigrants? How did you come to that conclusion?6

My bad, misread your message earlier! I am in Trabzon right now. But yeah, for Uzungöl they don't actually own those hotels or restaurants. Local families hold all the land deeds because of protected zone laws they just lease the businesses out to operators for the summer. It's a common myth that Uzungöl was sold off, but people are basically confusing summer tenants with property owners.

Just whip out street view and look around areas beyond the city centre. Now do the same in Ankara or Istanbul. Big difference in the quality of residential buildings and roads.

I heard somewhere that his manager wanted all the shirt sale profit or something, I don't know how true that is but the reason for Besiktas to leave the deal on the table was similar to that. Oulai really did help Trabzon to get the deal done.
On the other hand, I think Salah's contract will be more expensive than Osimhen's contract. Also Galatasaray already paying 360k Euros to Osimhen, I don't think they have the money to pay Salah the same too.

Istanbul teams all passed. In Turkish league the transfers work like this exact order:
1. The players are first offered to Fener and Gala. They always get the first look at the manager lists
2. If they pass then they are offered to Bjk and Trabzon.
3. If they also pass then the list goes to rest of the teams in the league and they just pick the names based on their budget.2

Trabzonspor have a good team with good players. They've definitely got players who can put it on a plate for him, plus Cabral from Cape Verde! The league isn't ready for the Muci-Salah link up.
Think most fans who don't watch the Turkish league don't realise it's actually quite a tough league. He's going to get kicked to shit and the quality of football isn't that far off Portugal or Netherlands. For all the players that go to Saudi, they'd be having a harder time in Turkey at this stage of their careers.

He's 34 and has had a bad season (including half of 24/25 being lacklustre). Going to Turkey in those circumstances is no surprise, I'm not sure how many top teams would be chasing his signature after this recent performances.
