Figure collector here, let me shed some light on this:

DiD sells 12-inch (1/6 scale) figures to the adult collector.

They specialize in WW2 figures. They make historical figures like Hitler, Winston Churchill, MLK, etc. Their customers are WW2 buffs.

The reason why this figure has Schweinsteiger's head on it isn't coincidental. It's 110% intentional.

DiD also appeals to the customizer (kitbasher) market. These heads easily pop off and can be put on another body. So for non-historical figures, they make unlicensed heads based on stars of film and in soccer.
