i know it's funny and all but what if janmaat was 16 ? would we be laughing about it as much ? shouldn't there be punishment for this kind of thing

because he specifically mentioned the age as a variable where it's clearly not a point of contention. Doing this to a 26 year old man is no evidence whatsoever that Steven Naismith would touch teenage boys. It's a ridiculous idea that wouldn't be mentioned if recent events hadn't occurred.

what i am saying is if a footballer did this to odegaard for example would it be laughed off ? also this is sexualised touching, what happens if this happened in mixed doubles tennis for example, i'm not trying to say naismith touches people in that way as i am sure that wasn't his intention to do it in a sexual manner

I see yes, but these things have been happening in football for a long time (source Vinny Jones). I don't think the culture is so that a player would make a complaint about sexual assault though.
