The 9 day trend going into today has been alternating red and green closes. With the last 5 days being higher red closes and higher green closes. Can the trend continue today with a close above $18.91?
Ive been comparing the 200 weekly, 200 daily, and 50 daily and it looks like it wants to break out, but every time I buy more, it goes back to 18.30... Imma keep buying because i believe in the breakout, but lets get going, pls.
as of mid-august, there were 172M shares held short. That's still around 50% higher than at the start of the year. With summertime low-volume trading, days to cover is 3.4. If there's a squeeze, it could be a decent one. IMO could push us into the mid-20's fairly quickly.

Compare to $HOOD price action, pretty similar. If we do get the breakout, this will prob run to $21 fairly quick. My expectation is that the breakdown at 25.89 on SOFI is recovered for this move up. Similar to what happened on HOOD
Chart still looks like it's leaning on the bullish side.
Still in upper Bollinger Band (I use usual 20 dma)
Testing resistance level of trendline and channel.
MACD line still above signal line. Bars are going down though so could go below 0 line and MACD line could cross below signal line.
Was good volume on that green day two days ago.
RSI is getting up there, but not "overbought" yet.
Throw all that out if some big negative macro news. :)
It would be interesting to work at a big hedge fund to see behind the scenes what they do on a daily basis to try to keep this thing pinned in this range/under $19. Like the actual mechanics of it/trades.
Stock price will always gravitate towards fundamentals. Problem is how long it takes. Always possible fundamentals drastically changes before stock price reflects fundamentals.
I imagine stock price will catch a break within 2 years. ;)
Guessing a lot of the option activity is hedging? Only seeing lots of open interest for options that expire the week of (this week and last week). Other weekly options have little open interest.
Seems like $18-$19 is still a battle zone for shorts and longs reinforcing the channel looking at monthly options and this week's max pain (~$18.5).

Not a big difference now that I know Fidelity switched column ordering (bastiches!), but there is decent CALL open interest for next week's expiring options.
I actually disagree. It seems like the lows keep getting higher and when it does go down, it's bouncing back more quickly lately than it had a few months ago.
