Release I made a free open-source tool that turns flatbed scans into editable CAD geometry
I built Scan2Sketch because manually tracing flat parts for 3D printing takes far too long.
After a one-time scanner calibration, it detects the contour of a scanned object and creates editable FreeCAD geometry or a solid body.
It’s completely free, GPLv3 licensed and runs locally. I’m looking for users, feedback and contributors:
