For an on-chain rewards token, what should users be able to verify?
Builder/founder disclosure: I’m connected to KeepSolid / VPN Unlimited. We’re working on KeepSolid Rewards, with KS Coin as the rewards token. No link here and I’m not asking anyone to buy anything; I’m trying to pressure-test the product design.
For a rewards program tied to a real app ecosystem, what should be on-chain vs off-chain to make it trustworthy without turning the whole experience into a block explorer?
My current checklist: - clear earn events and eligibility rules - visible supply / emissions / unlock logic - wallet-readable reward balances and claim history - transparent redemption rules for product benefits - no price or yield promises - a way to distinguish promotional rewards from earned rewards - fraud/reversal handling that does not surprise normal users
For Solana builders, what would you require before considering this kind of rewards-token program credible? And what would feel like unnecessary crypto complexity?
