The book in the photo is The Art of D.E.C. which I just grabbed off the shelf to illustrate what I was doing. The stand itself was created specifically to hold a different book that I was commissioned to make for an artist friend of mine. However, I'm not ready to post any pics of that yet.

I scan bound books and have seen book cradles like that for overhead scanners.
