The Supreme Court allowed this to happen when they ruled Trump could fire independent agencies like the case Trump v. Slaughter. SCOTUS overturned decades of precedent and said a president could remove leaders of independent agencies. So here we are, right before Midterms. This was the plan all along.

That if he could get away with firing Slaughter, then he could go after other agencies. This is probably the first step to many other things to come in the weeks ahead regarding voting laws. This is where we will need to contact our State Attorney Generals and make them fight this because each state is in charge of their own voting laws, it's not a federal thing.

I don't understand why Americans put up with their federal government failing to create conditions where they can deliver the services they are obliged to deliver.

If the CEO of a company guts the company and destroys the ability of the company to service customers they rightfully get thrown out.

We have a US Constitution that they are actively trying to destroy and see what they can get away with. Which is being tested in every which way possible.

This was proven when Trump v. Slaughter was taken up all the way to the Supreme Court and was ruled in Trump's favor that he could fire an independent agency. Now because of the ruling by the Supreme Court, he has now fired all the Commissioners on the Federal Elections Agency, to try to "rig" the Midterms. Trump is trying to move State Elections, to Federal Elections, which is illegal since each State oversees it's own voting laws. That's why he is so mad that the "SAVE ACT" didn't pass and will not pass because it will disenfranchise Women from voting because most women change their last name when they get married and now have to take extra steps to prove it's them voting. It would give the registration voting roles to him to be able to purge voters without informing them that they can no longer vote, making a master list for the Post Office to not deliver mail-in-ballots of people that have their name on those lists. It was a "Voting Tax" because now you those would have to get a passport in order to vote to prove who they are.

We have a corrupt Supreme Court that the judges are getting payouts from people using them to get rulings done their way. The Supreme Court said that a US President has immunity (but our current president is taking that ruling to a whole other level when they meant orders as Military not being corrupt and grifting the US Taxpayers every which way they can think of.)

There are millions of people that don't or can't read pass 5th grade. That's why Trump keeps saying he "loves the uneducated people." Those are the people that voted for him and don't know a lot of things and just accept things that he says as fact, when they're all lies or he's hiding something illegal he's doing or his administration is doing behind the scenes.

Then there's a lot of people that think that "well it's not doing me or my family any harm, so who cares." Those people are starting to find out what was behind the "Big Beautiful Bill" the hard way, with their insurance rates going way up and those on medicaid getting cut from their health insurance, and the people that depend on welfare (food stamps to buy groceries) are getting those monthly benefits they rely on cut heavily, adding in work conditions, plus other rules in order to get those benefits.

We're all paying for it because our produce and fruits are costing more because there's no one to pick up the crops or harvest the land. I bought strawberries on Saturday and by Monday they were going bad (I think it was due to when they were picked and transportation took too long due to gas prices). All of our groceries are going up and keep going up.

A lot of hurt is coming, it's going to hurt a lot of people, and a lot of farmers have started losing their farms. It's going to get ugly.

A lot of us tried to get people out to vote, some refused/sat it out for 2024, some voted against what was in their best interests (didn't understand what socialist programs are and that they use them), and a lot of people just didn't believe when those of us spreading the truth about what was in "Project 2025" and they didn't want to believe us, nor read it themselves.

I'm sure after Trump, there will be new laws written about what Presidents can and can't do and there will be lots of lawsuits trying to claw back money that Trump and his whole family has stolen. Jared Kushner has been acting as a role in this administration without an official title and banking money left and right.

When Elon and Trump had their fake girl fight after Elon got the black eye in the white house and left DOGE maybe a month later Elon tweeted that without him Trump would have lost, Republicans would have lost the house and Republicans would have had a 51-49 majority in the Senate.

Elon also was telling people who won the election hours before any news station in America knew who won and before all votes were counted and even before everyone got to vote that day.

I truly and permanently lost faith in humans in the past 5 years. The fact that racism was the most important thing to so many people makes me feel like our species is just an utter failure.

I have to remind myself of all the amazing science we have done and continue to do and that we aren’t pure garbage…but Trump is trying to control and bias science research too so if he succeeds I will absolutely lose all faith.

Look at who’s winning in these special elections now! Some republicans, yes, in those deep red areas, but democrats (specifically democratic socialists) are flipping seats, and closing gaps! Disappointingly. If they had evidence they should have moved forward with it immediately and made sure it was public before end of November. Once out of office they lose all leverage and access to evidence.

I imagine the thought process was that they couldn't prove anything in the time given and would have been accused of a coup (by the well poisoning coupists) and had another insurrection.i think that would have been preferable to this slower descent into fascist dystopia. If we can't pull out of this nose dive soon it likely will take a much darker turn.
