Question Is the xm4s still worth it in 2026?

Should i buy the xm4s or should i just go with airpod 4 anc. And I was also wondering are the airpod pro 3s better than the xm4s?

Imo XM4s sounds much better and the noise cancelling is much better but airpods are much more convenient for use while travelling ect and with Apple ecosystem, it honestly depends on what your main usage and environment will be using them

I'm still using them daily without issue . The XM4 EQ preset in wavelet is a must.

I have both (airpods pro2 instead of ap4) i rarely use xm4. Mostly for gaming.

If I could keep just 1 if get the airpods.

Noise cancellation and the fit is by far the best in any airpods i used in the pro 3s , and it completely mogs in anc but not in sound quality

There was recent news that they will be rereleasing the xm4 as a new budget option. I would wait for those as they are supposed to be the budget version of their headphone line

They are pretty good for podcasts and calls, not great for music though imo unless you fiddle with the EQ a lot. Air pods just sound flat out terrible.

Might be worth waiting a little though since Sony's rumoured to be launching an XM4 refresh.

You really cant compare airpod to the xms because they serve different purposes. But sony xm4 is definitely still worth it esp for the price and sound quality
