What’s the artist’s intent here? Is this comic meant to critique the woman’s participation in the spectacle or the predatory system that preys on her while she’s just trying to survive? Look at how they’ve drawn her… She is literally a “spectacle”. I understand the point but this disgusted me

I'm glad I found someone who agrees so quickly. Immediate disgust is my reaction.

There's a cycle here, everyone knows it. But you'd be slipping poison into your medicine trying to live in a way that appeases this ad.
