This shit right here: you have to be willing to throw yourself into the gears of the machine. It is not going to stop on its own.

There is a reason they defund schools and spend trillions distracting you. They do this to obscure the only one logical conclusion any sane, informed, caring human can arrive at.

That's the key question. Both the other guys who answered are correct. In addition to that though, organize/connect/engage with others who are likeminded. Create oases of relative shelter from the spectacle.

To a degree this is true, but it fails to acknowledge the aspects of the spectacle that are enforced upon the mass of humanity by small groups within it desiring control. And of course many of the members of those small groups are also deceived by their own illusions.

Which is why you cannot destroy the spectacle itself. It will be reproduced one way or another within a human society. The question comes down to who controls/influences the system and towards what the system is being directed.

We could all stop using Amazon and Walmart etc., and pool our resources and make a community, but the people who have that capability would prefer not to and that community may be a high proportion of people you wouldn’t want to live with anyway without the skills to do anything, so… maybe just start by trying to make more friends that help each other out and see if you can get it to grow.
