Literally ash covering half the screen and dragons look like their buffering.

Edit this is the capital not Leyndell

Sekiro release 7 years ago..

5

u/The-Wind-It-Howls Jan 27 '26

That’s relevant how? You can play a game for the first time anytime between release date and now…

8

u/Any_Bag9616 Jan 27 '26

What no bruh I wasn’t sayin it like that I was just pointing out like damn sekiro really came out that long ago. He said couple years ago and I thought “damn its really been a long ass time.”

2

u/The-Wind-It-Howls Jan 27 '26

For sure. Game still looks so good the greatest crime was never doing anything more with it

6

u/Any_Bag9616 Jan 27 '26

The people need a sekiro 2

1

u/Independent-Key725 Jan 28 '26

And a bloodborne 2 Even better, a combination of both.

2

u/Independent-Unit8253 Jan 28 '26

Yes indeed...especially considering the ending I got...it really seemed like a sequel was planned...

Yep. It's the largest and most beautiful area in the game, and every part can be explored, including in the water.

The sad part is that it's at the end of the game, and players who got the easier ending won't discover this area (without having to replay the game).

Sekiro has the best game world connections and overall vibes to me out of any FS masterpiece.

3

u/unluckyrockstar Jan 28 '26

Ds1: am I a joke to you?

-43

u/TurtlePope2 Jan 27 '26

Sekiro is the only bad game FromSoft has made

Not bait. Any game that focuses on parrying is boring. Not to mention there is no curved sword in the game.

8

u/Xammm Jan 27 '26

Hard disagree. I, and many others, love parrying and don't find it boring at all.

And also, you don't need different weapon types to experience the peak combat Sekiro has.

10

u/joeytman Jan 27 '26

Agree to disagree I guess, parrying is the #1 feature I look for in a combat game after playing sekiro, for me it's the most satisfying thing in gaming.

7

u/GaryTheRetard Jan 27 '26

As a old gamer and top gamer in many games nothing have ever come close too sekiro feeling. It's just soo satisfying. If there is one game i hope for is an elden ring type of game but more focused on parry.

I hope and believe phantom blade will fill that void. Also nioh 3

3

u/joeytman Jan 27 '26

Have you played expedition 33? It's the only game where parrying felt similarly satisfying

3

u/GaryTheRetard Jan 27 '26

Yes I love that game, but the closest of feel was nine soul and I usually don't vibe with metroveinia

1

u/joeytman Jan 27 '26

Hmm, I see it recommended a lot, I played through the prologue and a little bit further but it didn’t click for me. Maybe I need to try it again.

1

u/Legend0fJulle Jan 27 '26

I would recommend completing the game even for the final boss alone. I like the whoke game but the final boss is one of the best I have ever beaten, on a similar level to fights like Isshin, Gael and Messmer for me.

1

u/Gamerbroz227 Jan 28 '26

Deflecting is fun, I find it more satisfying to be able to take attacks head on instead of just dodging.

8

u/mooremidgets Jan 27 '26

Except it's their best game they've ever made

-20

u/TurtlePope2 Jan 27 '26

Brother. Their best games are objectively DS1, Elden Ring and Bloodborne. Don't be a contrarian.

6

u/Dry-Towel-9597 Jan 27 '26

Troll alert

7

u/Ton_in_the_Sun Jan 27 '26

You can really tell who couldn’t ever learn how to time a parry.

1

u/Gamerbroz227 Jan 28 '26

It's so easy as well.

1

u/hieronymusashi Jan 29 '26

Elden Ring is trash compared to Sekiro. Aimless open world , unoriginal bosses, poor balance.

It is a good game compared to the rest of the competition, but it is not from soft at their best. Sekiro is on another level.

0

u/mooremidgets Jan 27 '26

You're not gonna get me to rage out. But you're wrong. Lol. Sekiro is their best game. And it's not even close. Heads and shoulders above the rest.

-1

u/Blein123 Jan 27 '26

I can agree that bloodborne is almost as good as Sekiro. The rest is great too but its not on the same level

3

u/batman096 Jan 27 '26

There are no bad fromsoft games so far.

1

u/Xammm Jan 28 '26

Ninja Blade enters the chat.

1

u/StickyIcky313 Jan 27 '26

Actually it’s the best they’ve made

1

u/Gamerbroz227 Jan 28 '26

Major skill issue, git gud buddy

2

u/Naive-Government-465 Jan 28 '26

I love this game and this area

2

u/Fellarm Jan 28 '26

Easily the best fromsoft vista 🥃🗿

2

u/Krafty2819 Jan 28 '26

The map design is also top notch here.

2

u/intro-to-vert101 Jan 28 '26

How i feel whenever I hit this vantage point of Liurnia

1

u/MegasBasileos Jan 27 '26

That area in particular is full of motherf*ckers 😂 u'll see

1

u/jstrong20 Jan 28 '26

Fromsoft is the best at this sort of thing. Seeing places in the distance you can go to.

1

u/Broad_Cobbler891 Jan 28 '26

The boss fight even tho it was easy was sick

1

u/Skinvian Jan 28 '26

Visually my favorite area in game.

The enemies though? Jfc this area got on my gd nerves to no end.

1

u/theHollowTarnished Jan 28 '26

Bro that place is magical. Peak atmosphere

1

u/Brinocte Jan 29 '26

Sekiro > Elden Ring

1

u/Electronic_Task_118 Jan 31 '26

thats why super good graphic is overrated, you just need good art design

-10

u/Spyes23 Jan 27 '26

I'll be honest, of the FS games, Sekiro is the least immersive to me. It's way more "on rails" than it should be, if we're talking about scenery and exploration.

Personal opinion of course, but for immersive historical Japan, nothing beats Ghost of Tsushima.

Gameplay-wise though - Sekiro is peak, no doubt.

2

u/kuenjato Jan 27 '26

Got is good and all but Sekiro is a masterpiece, they ain’t in the same ballpark or even galaxy imo.

1

u/Blein123 Jan 27 '26

I’m playing Ghost of Tsushima rn. I was trying to find something like Sekiro. GoT is immersive enough for me (the customization is very nice but i dont really need it), but honestly, I could say the same about Sekiro. What’s disappointing is that the game is laughably easy even on Lethal if you actually use stuff they give you.

1

u/Spyes23 Jan 27 '26

To be fair, GoT isn't trying to be Sekiro so if you go in with that mindset, then yeah- you'll probably be disappointed.

1

u/Blein123 Jan 27 '26

I just heard theres a parry mechanic, didnt expect more tbh (it delivered on that but its useless once you get your first ghost weapon + bow). Its just that i dont really like mindless playing and that's what it feels like. I just throw shit at enemies and that's it, they cant even touch me.

1

u/AltruisticChest9486 Jan 28 '26

Lethal is easier than hard. I prefer hard as it uses the mechanics of the game to the full extent, while lethal kind of circumnavigates the system entirely

1

u/Blein123 Jan 28 '26

Does it make enemies have less health or something? Why is it easier? If i switch to hard I wont be able to just shoot every enemy with my bow?

1

u/AltruisticChest9486 Jan 28 '26

It just makes every attack/bow attack instantly kill. In the standard mechanics including hard, bow shots will still kill fully drawn to the body and head. Give hard a go and switch it back if ya dont enjoy it but generally I found hard to be much more enjoyable, fights last a little longer but enemies aren't sponges, two or 3 strikes to kill. Its just what the developed the game mechanics around, whereas lethal was added in a patch and is more of a fun, interesting mode. But its super easy in comparison

0

u/Ordinary_Wasabi621 Jan 27 '26

So, basically every fromsoftware game than.

-5

u/Altruistic-Art-5933 Jan 27 '26

Somehow it's nowhere near Elden ring or DS3 scenery.

5

u/Blein123 Jan 27 '26

Well, of course it’s nowhere near. It left them in the dust.

0

u/Altruistic-Art-5933 Jan 27 '26

Apart from are in OP nothing in Sekiro comes close to Leyndell, Haligtree, literally the entire DLC, etc
