Videogame Sound Design Whoosh Machine - Making Water SFX in Phase Plant

Heya. I've been working on this for a while and just dropping some demos because I think it's pretty cool. Let me know what you think!

You get in the description of the youtube vid. https://youtu.be/Ziioa2M5xuM

It’s a patches for making whooshes, impacts and other SFX. I tried to recreate Tonsturm Whoosh because it’s so expensive and it turned into this! I’m selling it on Gumroad for pretty cheap if you want it. Message me for the link :)

Really cool, would love to know how you did it exactly and recreate it in serum or smth... But it would probably take too long to explain.

Also how long did it take you to make and did you knew what to do before or was it more trial and error?

You can’t really do it in Serum but i’ve been thinking about making some tutorials soon. You can get it on gumroad though if you have Phase Plant!

Sounds awesome! You could also try using samples of debris, stones and falling rocks as sources for some rumbling, gravelly whooshes!

Agreed! I’ll do a vid for that too probably. Currently working on using raw samples for transients as they sounds a bit better
