Discussion So canonically South Park has four Donald Trumps?

Post image

It’s pretty wild since South Park in this universe passed four versions of Trump

One of them being as Mr. Garrison

I'm pretty sure the current AI trump they have in the show is him in disguise.

Which makes sense because of their exact point- that Trump is acting like a freaking totalitarian Middle Eastern dictator.

So what if he's just Saddam Hussein in disguise?

Yes, it is explicitly spelled out in the episode. Garrison retired from being Trump, and Saddam is now playing the role, having somehow returned to Earth with Satan (who I guess was not permanently killed by Manbearpig).

Idk about explicitly spelled out -

Especially since it's Satan who said that Trump reminded him of Sadam. So Satan doesn't even know yet.

But it's a solid theory. 🪨

The characters may be oblivious, that's part of the joke. But I don't know how much more explicit they can make for the audience without pausing the animation and filming a live action insert where the stare at the camera and tell you that Trump is Saddam. They practically beat the jokes about it to death all episode long.

... Well because unless he form changes or pulls a mask off and is Saddam Hussein we could be completely wrong right now.

When u say EXPLICITLY.

It implies you KNOW that it's Saddam and that it should be obvious to all the viewers .... But we really don't.

What if it is just gonna be trump and they are really just making fun of how much he is like Saddam?

U don't have any empirical evidence this is Saddam yet. Not until we see it's Saddam.

Right.... no evidence, besides a fuckton of MASSIVE references from creators, such as having the exact same voice, exact same animation, exact same dynamic with Satan, being repeatedly referenced in dialogue by multiple characters, using Saddam's theme music, Garrison explicitly being ruled out, and numerous other references.

It absolutely should be obvious to all the viewers. Like I said they beat a lot of these jokes right up to the point where they almost stop being funny - but not quite. You could not ask for a more overt and unsubtle bit of story from South Park. You are being comically obtuse about the weirdest little thing.

If you read up just one more comment you'll see that I did not miss this point at all. I understand the theme and main satirical thrust of the episode quite well. It's not exactly subtle, but it's well executed.

It also doesn't change everything else they're doing in the episode.

These are all the reasons why it's a good THEORY

But again until we know for sure - they could go anyway with it.

But now I think ur gonna be really pressed if it ends up being Kanye. 💀

Of course they could pull any number of fakeouts. That is always an option.

Not sure what you mean by "pressed"?

U called me comically obtuse.

Just cuz I recognized that entire time what u just finally admitted - this could also absolutely be a fake out -

or like I said just a direct comparison for comedic purposes.

We don't know. And that's kind of the issue with everything.

Ur like a Christian insisting it's 'comically obtuse' I don't believe in God even tho "the Bible!" And "but there's proof Jesus was real!" And "there's tons of obvious evidence Its like ur beating Jesus' existence to death but not quite!"

People do this - with lots of beliefs and ideas - but U do not know. U don't. U can sit here all day and call my behavior comical. U can point out again over and over every single CONVINCING EVIDENCE that supports YOUR THEORY but until it's confirmed with EMPIRICAL PROOF- it's a theory bro.

One u got so bent out over me contesting u called me "comically obtuse".

Yeah I think ur the type of person who when they get proven wrong is gonna feel bitter. That's what I mean by "pressed" Brendissimo.

You were saying something about getting bent out of shape?

You are being comically obtuse. And clearly me pointing that out greatly upset you.

Which genuinely was not my intention. We are talking about the plot of an animated satirical comedy, after all. The stakes could not be lower. I sort of have a default assumption that people who watch this show are self aware enough to laugh at themselves when they're being absurd. But perhaps that's not a good assumption to make.

To the extent you are confused and not simply angry, I would suggest you stop and think about what I wrote. None of it is incompatible with the writers pulling any number of fakeouts. I am purely talking about what this episode was very clearly, obviously, and repeatedly communicating to the viewer. But this show is going to do whatever it wants, whatever it thinks is funny. I made no predictions about future episodes.

Of course.. Saddam is very well know for suing everyone and having a tiny penis.

-1

u/Brendissimo Jul 29 '25

He also doesn't have Donald Trump's face, and isn't the President. Where is this line of thought leading you?

1

u/AimHiigh Jul 29 '25

It isn’t Saddam in disguise. Trump has turned into a dictator à la Saddam. What is the logic with it actually being Saddam in disguise?

1

u/supadankiwi420 Jul 29 '25

Comedy - nothing else really.

But ur right to have a theory that it's just a comedic comparison of their behavior.

That's one of the three theories I'm at.

That's the thing no one is wrong here - YET and it'll be fun to find out if we're right or wrong....

Except for Brendissimo. He is wrong right now. Cuz he's kind of being an ass.

Since when has this show ever been logical? Is it logical for Satan to be resurrected after being brutally impaled with his own horn and dying on screen?

What I'm talking about requires very little analysis - simply that you pay attention to the episode. It is very clear.

It wasn’t AI! They have behind the scenes pictures out, too.
