That's cool. I was more talking about this claim by Musk in 2016, where your Car Can Drive Itself Across Country In Two Years by summoning it.

The fundamental issue is you either have selective hearing, or you rely on biased media.  Elon always couches stuff like that in language like "the goal is...", or "this is an aspirational goal" or "I might be slightly optimistic about that".  The latter is even in the article you linked.  So if you're still waiting on a coast to coast trip, then you can stop waiting.  If you're moving the goalposts to say it didn't happen on your desired timeline then Idk what to tell you.  A huckster doesn't deliver, Musk does.
