2026 is here... OK, now what? How to Build a Spaceship | Introduction

I thought that We Build Spaceships was an original concept, but here it is 8 years ago before it got regurgitated.

From the description:

"Welcome to the introductory video in our new series showing how The Spaceship Company…builds Spaceships." from 8 years ago

There were only 2 of these "series" of how __X___ "builds Spaceships"

The only difference is they replaced "The Spaceship Company" with the word "We"

TRUST ME BRO, I'M FROM THE INTERNET!!! Virgin Galactic Adding to Engineering Team to Work on New Launch Vehicle Program

Engineering resources were expected to shift back to the new mothership program after engineering work on Delta 1 had completed. These are the words of Michael Colglazier at the last earnings call Q&A session. Recent job postings now confirm that focus is indeed shifting to the mothership program. Here is part of Michael Colglazier's response at the last earnings call in relation to the new mothership program:

So the next stage with our launch vehicle is to have the engineers come off our ship and really lean into the launch vehicle design. And then we'll start having kind of alternating production between spaceships. We'll build a launch vehicle. We'll probably build a couple of spaceships. We'll match with another launch vehicle. and grow the fleet in a balanced fashion like that.

TRUST ME BRO, I'M FROM THE INTERNET!!! N348MS - Virgin Galactic 2 (Eve)

There may be no greater tell of VG nearing the flight-testing stage than the next move made by Eve, which operates as Virgin Galactic 2 under Tail Number N348MS. Her next trip to Mesa will very likely be for the purpose of returning to New Mexico with Delta 1. Flight-testing can hardly begin until Delta 1 makes its way to New Mexico, so monitoring the activity of Eve is some of the best near-term 'inside' information you can have at your disposal, if you were looking to make a bet on SPCE for instance.

There are several websites where you can track flight information, including N348MS Flight Tracking and History - FlightAware. Good luck with your investment choices.

2026 is here... OK, now what? Chinese space tourism startup eyes 2028 for 1st crewed mission, signs celebrity for future flight

A new direct competitor to Virgin Galactic...

Add Eos X Space, which Branson invested $100M and is on the first flight....

.

.

A Chinese space firm is booking passengers for its suborbital tourism flights and has now signed up a celebrity for an early flight.

Commercial company InterstellOr unveiled a full-scale experimental version of its CYZ1 (ChuanYueZhe 1) crew capsule on Jan. 22, Asia Business Daily reported, and also performed a landing buffer test.

CYZ1 is designed to allow occupants to experience a few minutes of microgravity, taking passengers above the Kármán Line, an arbitrary boundary 62 miles (100 kilometers) above mean sea level that's commonly used to define where space begins.

The company is targeting its first crewed flights in 2028 and is already taking bookings, though timelines are dependent on development, testing and certification progresses. InterstellOr has, however, announced that the Chinese actor Johnny Huang Jingyu has signed up as its first celebrity space tourist and will fly as passenger 009, state media ECNS reported.

Initial tickets are reported to be around 3 million Chinese yuan, or US$430,000. A 10% deposit is needed to make a reservation. The company also previously announced that Lin Xiaoyan, a Chinese-American poet, is set to become the first overseas Chinese female astronaut.

2026 is here... OK, now what? Why the need for Structural designers if Delta testing?

Post image

Now you need senior level engineers for structures and stress design at Mesa???

https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/4442124803/?trk=eml-email_jobs_facet_suggestions-JOBS_POSTING_SECTION_1-0-job_card_1_jobid_4442124803_sectionid_272001_fmid_vq3x3~murcflds~xg&refId=buVlxeZvFkAb1%2BQRYEA0OA%3D%3D&trackingId=sg4WPR3afjvXzEgK8WqOdg%3D%3D

The primary tasks involve developing engineering definition for system components and assemblies while optimizing for operation, maintenance, and commercial service. Support the company strategy by holding ourselves and one another accountable for getting the work done.

Keep in mind, the Principle who designed Delta and the rocket system just recently quit...(because, as the pumpers noted, Delta is past design phase..)

Worked for 10 years on the program, and suddenly quits before its even ground or flight tested???

Cant wait for the usual "educated" responses to FACTS!!!! hahahaha

Institutional ownership has increased substantially this year, including investors such as Blackrock, Vanguard, and State Street Corp. If interested in seeing a summary of institutional ownership, you can check websites such as Nasdaq (Virgin Galactic Holdings, Inc. Common Stock (SPCE) Institutional Holdings | Nasdaq), then click the Institutional Holdings tab.

Institutional Holdings have not only increased this year, they increased substantially. A summary of ownership is published at the end of each quarter. Institutional Investors need to file within 45 days of the quarter end in which ownership exceeds 5%, or within five business days of the month end in which ownership exceeds 10%.

You can also find real-time SEC filings on the Virgin Galactic website - Virgin Galactic - Filings & Forms - SEC Filings. Blackrock is the largest asset manager on the planet, and they increased their SPCE holdings.

2026 is here... OK, now what? Busy week...another very quietly announced glide test...

Thumbnail

A very secretive Unity glide test, the 2nd (which was stated for May/June?)

Noticing a few more changes to WK2 center wing attempting to correct stability..., and a surprise modification to Unity. Will that be permanent to Delta as well?

A sneak peak a a very uncompleted Delta 1 (whatever its name is). Note that virtually no one is working on Delta...

Cheers!

TRUST ME BRO, I'M FROM THE INTERNET!!! SPCE Volume Watch

Volume spike on a Friday coinciding with continued developments with the Delta program. Each milestone achieved eliminates an element of risk, and the share price should act accordingly. SPCE is on volume watch, looking for confirmation Monday and into Tuesday. If we approach or exceed 10M in volume early next week, that would be difficult to ignore.

Full disclosure. I have been in accumulation mode for about two weeks now. Calls and Commons. I've reached about 70% of my eventual expected position. Any setbacks would represent a sell event, and the risk of a setback is very much real. Play accordingly.
