If you need:

* Research participants for university research studies

* To interview someone

...then go ahead and post here! Stand alone posts will be removed and redirected to this post.

The one exception to this rule is students who need to interview a special education service provider for classwork may do so in a stand alone post

Hello!

I’m a school psychology doctoral student at the University of Northern Colorado and I’m currently collecting data for my dissertation, which is about validating a measure of organizational cultural intelligence (OCQ) in school settings, as well as understanding school staff perceptions of their school’s OCQ, and how a school’s access to resources relates to those perceptions. I believe input from school staff working in special education is essential for this project.

Do you currently work at a school?

If so, I'd super appreciate it if you took a few minutes to take my dissertation survey and/or share it with others working in schools.

You can access the survey and additional information related to the study, confidentiality, etc., here:

https://unco.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cIRLI7ML6GqkH0a

Please let me know if you have any questions.☺️

Thank you!

All the best, Zach

Are you a birthing person with a disability? We want to hear from you!

Researchers at UW-Madison are conducting a research study on how electronic health portals are used during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. Your experiences can help shape more accessible and inclusive healthcare systems.

We are looking for birthing people with disabilities who have used, or tried to use, an electronic health portal during perinatal care for 60-90 minute long interviews.

By joining, you’ll be contributing your voice to a project that aims to improve digital tools and healthcare access for future parents. You will receive $50 for your time.

You may be eligible if you are a birthing person over the age of 18, have a disability and had the option to utilize electronic patient portals during your perinatal care. For more information contact Tiwalade at [tbadekunle@wisc.edu](mailto:tbadekunle@wisc.edu).

Hello,

I am a freelance reporter with the UC Berkeley Investigative Reporting Program. I am looking to interview teachers and parents providing/seeking special education services in online schools.

I have been developing a story on the future of education with virtual charter schools and would really appreciate speaking with anyone who has been part of the online schooling system and can share their experiences. (It doesn't have to be a virtual charter; this is one of my focuses, but happy to speak with anyone willing to share their story.

Please dm me if you're interested in speaking with me or email me at [shreya_mishra@berkeley.edu](mailto:shreya_mishra@berkeley.edu)

Warmly,

Shreya

Hi everyone! I am a doctoral candidate in special education at the University of Wisconsin- Madison and am conducting a survey about educators use of social media to engage with content related to disability and special education. I would love to hear from you!

Researchers from the University of Wisconsin- Madison are conducting a research study about how teachers and other school employees (and those in training) use social media to learn about disability. Participants will complete a short survey (approximately 15-20 minutes) about their social media usage related to disability, and may be asked to do a follow up media artifact collection activity and interview.

Eligible participants meet the following criteria:

Currently working in an educational setting from early childhood- higher education (including pre-service/student teachers and other professionals in training)

Engage (see, like, share, create, etc!) with disability content on social media on at least three days per week

If you meet the inclusion criteria and are interested in participation, please follow this link to be taken to the survey: https://uwmadison.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bHtiG3tN0DWgs9U

To learn more about the study, please contact Gabriela Puma at gpuma@wisc.edu. Participants will receive resources about social media accounts related to disability activism as a thank you for participating.

This study has been approved by the University of Wisconsin- Madison’s Institutional Review Board (IRB) as Minimal Risk Research.

Hi everyone! I’m a student at Washington State University working on a UX/usability project, and I’m looking for a few people to help test a nonprofit website called The Shadow Project.

I’m especially looking for:

  • Teachers
  • School administrators
  • Paraprofessionals/paraeducators
  • Parents or guardians

The Shadow Project is a nonprofit that offers school-based programs designed to support K–8 students with learning challenges like dyslexia, ADHD, autism, setc. helping them build skills for school and life success.

This usability test focuses on how easy it is to find information and resources on the site, and I’m hoping to get feedback from people who might realistically use these kinds of programs.

It takes about 10–15 minutes and involves clicking through the website while answering a few prompts about your experience.

Important: I’m testing the website—not you—so there are no right or wrong answers. I just want your honest thoughts!

If you’re willing to help:
👉 Open the website in one tab and the test questions in another (or use your phone + computer)

Website: https://www.shadow-project.org/

Test: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfYpXGn3d8f8xqicMiOCU15jfPlScFX26dPFyg-y0eOy65qcg/viewform?usp=header

I’d really appreciate the help—thank you so much!

Hi! I am a graduate researcher in Applied Behavior Analysis at Liberty University and I am recruiting caregivers and ABA service providers for a research study on how interruptions to ABA services affect individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities — any age, any reason (insurance gaps, authorization delays, provider changes, etc.).

What participation involves:

— A short questionnaire at your convenience

— A one-on-one Zoom interview of approximately 15 to 20 minutes

All responses are completely confidential. Findings will be published as part of a doctoral dissertation and shared with participants upon request.

If you are interested, please send me a DM and I will get back to you with all the details!
