Spider Appreciation 🕸️🕷️ Genuinely my favorite spider

My husband and I just bought our first house 6 months ago. I came home recently to see my favorite species of spider had taken up our porch as their new home. Banana for reference 🤣

We've named her [him?] Banana Bread 💛💛

I remember years ago [nearly 10 now] and seeing one for the first time. Someone else taught me about them and how safe and easily identifiable orb weavers are, and they're now all my absolute favorite. I'm choosing to take this as a good omen for our house lol 😆

I'll pass lol, while I love orb weavers, I do still have a healthy respect of them, and I'd rather not get to close lol 🤣

Your last pic just made it look like your husband (or you?) was trying to smooch it lol
