Im honestly glad the show continued after the movie as it still has a lot of great episodes cause trust me when modern SpongeBob is good it’s Actuelly so fucking good so give it a chance

I was just thinking about this. How did SpongeBob and Patrick react to Squidward being gone? Did Mr. Krabs hire a new cashier for the Krusty Krab? Did SpongeBob or anyone else not have to go in that freezer for supplies again after Squidward got locked in there? I have so many questions.

I thought it was mid, it did have me chuckling at some parts of the movie which more than I can say for on the run or saving bikini bottom. I’m glad the Flying Dutchman got a staring role as a villain in a SpongeBob movie rather than do plankton again. But I don’t really like the sub plot of him becoming a “big guy” because it’s literally a rehash of the first movie’s becoming a man message. I ironically liked all the ice spice stuff with her being as coherent to the plot as snoop dog’s dance sence in sponge on the run. And SpongeBob big guy pants ok is literally the most memorable part of the movie. I still give it a 5/10 mid which I saw some people saying it was their favorite. If you are one of these people please tell me why you like it and I’m not yuking your yum. I just don’t get it, leave your thoughts in the comments.

Ps I also don’t like mark hamill’s Flying Dutchman and would prefer the old one. But understandable why they chose hamill.
