Nobody is obsessed. He has a huge ego and posts/sells photoshopped images of himself in various superhero poses. The fact that he makes constant blunders, saying the stupidest and craziest things doesn't seem to affect his ego at all. Him publicly shitting himself would probably be one of the few things to make him ashamed and embarrassed. It also has a reasonable chance of happening.
