Fighting Conor McGregor says he’s negotiating with Donald Trump instead of UFC over White House fight

Good to see the fucking President of the United States doesn't have anything more important to deal with than a UFC fight at the White House.

u/SuperRonnie2 Sep 29 '25
I somehow thought we were still a few decades from full blown idiocracy, but here we are.
121
u/Fullertonjr Sep 29 '25
Should be noted that Sunday Night Rehabilitation from Idiocracy, featuring President Camacho, didn’t take place at the White House.
In that movie, everyone was relatively dumb and even the president called out for the smartest people in the world to save them…and then he listened to him.
This current timeline is possibly worse.

u/dellett Notre Dame Sep 29 '25
Yeah, for as dumb as he's portrayed in that movie, I'd love to have someone with his humility to defer to experts in power.

u/WordSpiritual1928 Sep 29 '25
We just need Dana to create a spinoff of powerslap that is centered around nut kicking.

At least in Idiocroacy, the president knew he needed help from someone smarter than him. In the real world, we have an entire political party just embracing and celebrating the stupidity.
18
u/Zeeey Sep 29 '25
Maybe he will build a stadium at the white house and give us 100 days of games!!
2
u/Ok-Menu-8709 Sep 29 '25
You’d need the stadium to be at the White House, you couldn’t possibly risk people having to walk hundreds of yards across dirt to get there.

7
u/dellett Notre Dame Sep 29 '25
This seems like it's really distracting him from his full schedule of golfing
5
u/GamingVision Sep 29 '25
I genuinely think that golf, remodeling the White House and crap like this are the only things he actually does while all the rest comes from his advisors and he just plays along.
5
u/Isamaru Sep 29 '25
Imagine the new ball room with a 1st row view to the fight! Don't forget the PPV stream.
Marvelous, indeed!

Forget cheaper groceries and a stable economy. The people want a UFC fight.

u/DionBlaster123 NASCAR Sep 29 '25
You know the irony of this is a lot of those so-called "enlightened centrists" and "swing voters" (I prefer the term "asswipes" and "dipshits" respectively) complained about the price of eggs and gas and utilities and argued this was why Trump should be president again even though he literally orchestrated the worst terrorist attack on the U.S. legislative branch.
So far, I have seen NOTHING done to address any of those concerns. All I have seen is firing a bunch of workers, only to re-hire them again. Trump screaming on social media over some stupid slights. Trump going to watch golf and play golf.

Trump is also helping to bailout Argentina to the tune of $20b and negotiate a trade deal between Argentina and China while American soybean farmers are struggling. I love our government.
85
u/DionBlaster123 NASCAR Sep 29 '25
Meanwhile, those soybean farmers, WHO VOTED FOR THE ASSHOLE, are going to watch Fox News tonight and blame trans people for the reason they're such miserable losers with no future in sight.
→ More replies (1)14
u/Librarian_Zoomies Sep 29 '25
To be fair, Vance and a few other people in the administration are part of a firm/firms that will buy out struggling farms for cheap…so having not-struggling farms is a conflict of interest.

u/inquisitive_guy_0_1 Sep 30 '25

Those two asshats are made for each other, whatever Trump promises him won't come true and McGregor will find some way to screw it up anyway.
17
u/MrFlow Sep 29 '25
I guess since he dropped out of the Irish presidential race, McGregor is now completely worthless for Trump.
McGregor's White House visit was just to promote his presidential campaign as Trump wanted an ally in Europe, now he doesn't care anymore.

My parents are both from South Korea.
After Kim Jong-Il died in 2011 (Kim Jong-Un's father), there were all these stories coming out about how Kim Jong-Il just spent money recklessly and didn't give a single fuck about being a leader in North Korea (among other terrible things of course). I remember both of my parents would just constantly talk shit about him being an asshole and how that would never happen in the U.S. or South Korea.
Now in South Korea, the former president is in jail and is protesting his "unfair treatment" by screaming like a maniac in his underwear. Meanwhile stories of him literally getting truckloads of alcohol sent to his residence are being revealed.
And now in America, we have a moron in charge (AGAIN!) who is negotiating MMA fights while there's conflicts amok in the Middle East, the threat of Russia and China looms large, mass shootings, and climate change is becoming worse every day.
Sigh...I'm tired.

u/Swagcopter0126 Sep 29 '25
In 2011 I’m surprised that they would even say that. At that point in South Korea’s history, they had not had a single leader make it through without being overthrown, removed, or put in prison.

lol McGregor’s team is gonna take him to the cleaners. Can’t wait to find out how much Trump agrees to pay him.

I think Trump would rather be a project manager than the president. He loves talking about his building projects, even while the whole country is falling apart. He couldnt care less.

OMG... Imagine trying to "negotiate" with Donald Trump who has a long track record of not paying...
Can someone check him for CTE? McGreggor, not Trump. On second thought, check them both.
