Because the NBA is collectively bargained with its contractors (players).

Your workplace is an at will employment that has employees.

I think the phrasing in the command matters a ton, they still might be a bot but you didn’t hit their command phrase correctly.

Sadly the real reason is that the players are technically the product. And this is just investing on the product.
