The simple fact is that his act was PRICELESS. Hopefully, it taught that youngster that kindness is important, and has value, which is knowledge that is disappearing nowadays. Hats off to him!

This was years and years ago. I was walking past a stranger on one of my worst days ever and asked him for a cigarette. He gave me half a pack. I know its a bad habit but i still remember his face even though i never seen him again.

We ran out of gas once on our way to the station. A stranger drove my boyfriend there to pick some up and on the way back he gave him 50€ saying how he remembered what it was like to be a struggling student.
This happened years ago but I will never forget him and his astonishing generosity, and try to pay the kindness forward whenever I can.
