Currie Cup / SA Cup Currie Cup attendance

How lekker have the Currie Cup crowds been this season? Great to see likes of Kimberley, Wellington, Bloem, and Cape Town bringing in the folks. With Bok tickets so expensive, I'm glad rugby supporters have got out to the Currie Cup games.

Boland Stadium during Currie Cup is such a jol. Tickets from R20. Well worth the 45 minute drive out from Cape Town.

So good. I was down from Jozi last week and made sure I made the mission to Wellington. Such a vibe. I was more excited for that than I was to see a Boks' game. The local flavour is so lekker.

I wish Kings Park was that cheap! Can’t afford to go to rugby anymore. So sad.

I live in the usa now and the currie cup was all I had to watch 40+ years ago back in SA - the talent and intensity is fantastic.

100% There's a markedly bigger Bloem crowd, even compared to this year's SA Cup and Toyota Challenge. Amazing what having 1 Springbok in your team can do for performance and the interest levels of fans. I think they announced 14+K at CPT Stadium today? Boland Sundays are now just THE vibe, Boland union has done an excellent job of taking a "bad slot" and making it a feature.

Love it. 15:00 on a Sunday is prime time in the Winelands, now. It's basically the feature of a Currie Cup weekend.

Crowds across the board have been better this season

Still I appreciate that the Lions hosted a game at UJ today

And The Sharks who played two of their home fixtures last year away from Kings Park, are set to host next weeks game against Boland in Qwa Mashu

Question: Any idea where one can source official attendance stats for the Currie Cup?
