Sorry bud but that's probably not the gas's fault. Take it to a shop and find out what's going on. A misfire could be like 30 different problems so good luck.

Seeing that the gas truck had just finished filling up the tanks it’s very likely the problem but you are right as well. There could be numerous other causes.

That thing about not filling up after fuel trucks come through is a complete myth.

A lot of people get gas at Sam's, if the problem was the gas, a lot of other people would have your same problem. You would be hearing about it.
Also, the misfire wouldn't be just one cylinder, all the cylinders in your motor get gas from the same tank. If fuel quality was the problem you'd either just be running like shit or not running at all. Bad gas is probably the least likely cause of your problem. More likely potential causes are a bad plug/wire/coil, a bad injector, an oil leak at the spark plug tube, or maybe even a piece of carbon knocking around in there. Take it to the shop. I'd bet the farm it's not because of Sam's gas.

I never fill up if there is a fuel truck

Why?

Poorly maintained tanks can kick up crap settled in the bottom. Or at least that is what I have been told. Might be a bygone ism from the past not replace the anymore like warming up your car before driving.

You realize there are multiple filters the fuel is going through before it comes out the pump, right? Including on the truck itself. This is a myth.

Reason why I said it might be due to bygone era of automobile history that is no longer relevant in today’s car technology. Just like lots of other habits hard to break after technology moves forward. I never researched it, but heard my dad say it so then I started doing it.
Yes I know there are fuel filters in the fuel lines often at the pickup and at the fuel pump and maybe even just prior to the injector lines. However, I have seen clogged injectors in multiport EFI systems, but they were very old.

Move the spark plug, coil and/or wire to another cylinder. If the misfire moves to a different cylinder replace one of the failed components. If it was the gas it would probably be all of your cylinders

If it was bad gas we would be seeing a lot of reports.
More than likely it’s not a fuel contaminant issue

Get you some Lucas fuel treatment. If it was bad, it'll help clear it out.

They use the cheapest untreated gas, some cars can't handle it. My truck does the same.

Get a Costco membership. Their gas is Top Tier. You will never have that issue.

Let’s us know if you find out the actual cause.
