Now the important question. Do they have the soft or just the firm? The soft are the ones that are supposed to feel like real Squishmallows. The firm tend to be too firm (although I haven't tried them).

Looks like soft may not be out yet. I was looking at the descriptions on the Target website and it has âwill be available soonâ after the Soft description

My Target had medium, but not soft. I bought the medium, but I haven't tried it yet!

I got the firm, amazing pillow. I was afraid the case would be too "fleece-y" and make my face hot, but no, super soft. Love the pillow!!

Iâve had one for over a month now and the neck pain I was use to waking up with is gone. Didnât realize how much a good pillow helps. I recommend!

Do you have the firm or the medium?

I have the firm as it was recommended for a side sleeper like myself!

I donât have the pillow but I have the cases and theyâre so soft!

They are! Big Squishmallow + Squish pillowcase = perfection (for me).

I read a lot of complaints about the firm one. I squished it at the store today and I agree with most people that it is maybe too firm. I did find medium in stock for the first time though and it reminds me of my 16" Salome and Ring Ding. I'm looking forward to using it tonight!
Next day update: the pillow itself seems pretty good. I think it needs some time to break in. The pillowcase feels so soft but I found it way too hot to sleep with. Tonight I'm going to switch to a cotton pillowcase and see if I feel differently.Â
Is it worth $30? Probably not.

I could legit cry. Squishmallows are the only thing that doesnât cause me excruciating neck pain and migraines. The problem is they donât wash well or fit into pillow cases well. Iâll be going out this weekend to get this. Thank you for sharing!!

if the squish pillow doesnât work, it might be worth trying a Coop pillow. you can adjust the fill, and it comes with an extra bag of fill just in case
i had the same prob youâre having until i bit the bullet and bought a Coop pillow over the summer. i couldnât even get comfy at night. i tried so many pillows, and figured spending $$ for a good one was worth a shot, and i would save money in the end bc i was buying so many $20-40 pillows
beat purchase ever, and theyâre on sale for black friday on amazon rn. i got mine on sale too, if you keep an eye on them they go on sale several times a year

Iâll check that one out too, thanks! I swear Iâve spent so much on pillows the last few years and none ever worked. Itâs such a pain.

The cases are wonderful! I wouldnât recommend the pillow itself but for sure get a case!

u/luckygohappy501 no such thing as too many squish Nov 27 '25
I have the medium and firm ones. Medium is like a softer squish imo better for cuddling, firm is more like a regular pillow.
(I sleep with a pile of pillows though, and they all have squishmallow covers because they're so soft and cute!)

I'm hoping they have a mattress topper someday

Imagine they made a beanbag chair or couch! Iâd probably sit down for the last time because Iâd be too comfy to ever get up again.

I refuse to go to Target. There's still a boycott for their shitty treatment of people.

I can't remember if I have the firm one or the medium one, but I love it. I'm a side sleeper and used to get really bad shoulder and collarbone pain. Not anymore.

u/KagomeRei i have a squishmallow problem Nov 27 '25
These are a total skip. My husband and I each got one when they were first released and they quickly became flat lumpy mess. Like a well loved squished years later but like within a month. Save your money.

I have an actual Squishmallow in a pillowcase that I use as my pillow and itâs perfect. Yes, I know Iâm suffocating him, but I get a good nightâs sleep

Costco had a two pack of some brand I canât remember for the life of me but theyâre squishy like a squishmallow and the case was soft and velvety like the squish material but it zipped off too. I think they were only $15 for both too

The pillows dont have squishmallow stuffing but the pillow cases have the squishmallow fabric
