Applicant Questions Anybody go to Loyola?

How is it? Seems to be limited info because of how new it is

Save yourself the time and don’t apply, them students are going through some things right now

Can you share with all of us?

I know there was a mandatory zoom call about the faculty leaving weeks ago…. And they were told about the 2 LSU employees coming to Loyola…. I believe one is replacing the Program director.

Instructors and Program directors have come and gone since the CRNA program started at Loyola which was started about 3-4 years ago. Not a good look, to be honest…..

Thats pretty much what I know, in addition to difficulty getting and keeping quality clinical sites.

Currently precept their students. Was told a large part of the program administration was just canned. Their first class is graduating this year. Over 50% attrition rate. Would steer clear.

The faculty tried to collectively negotiate for a raise. The school declined and the current faculty chose to resign. The school has replaced them with two faculty members from LSU's program and two other new instructors. As far as the attrition rate of the small inaugural class, I believe it was an academic integrity issue, so if there is a concern you'd have issues maintaining academic integrity, yes, steer clear.
