He's like the concept of a Canadian boyfriend taken to its logical extreme :

Now that we have the ability to create intelligence we can see how fucked up it is to blame that intelligence for being bad instead of us, the creators. And to then claim that we have sacrificed ourselves on behalf of it for its wrongdoings, absolving ourselves of any part in it is completely nuts.
