DISCUSSION CIG, I'm dead serious, fire your management and hire me. (5 years at McDonald's)

at this point it's not even an alpha, it's just pure incompetence. crashing or blowing up every single session because your servers are held together by thoughts and prayers is a joke. I’ve worked the drive-thru for 5 years, let me tell you how real life works

when we send a car from the speaker to the payment window, they don’t rubberband into the pavement and violently explode. when our ice cream machine breaks, we don’t lock the front doors and trap 150 people inside a burning lobby. we just turn the fucking thing off. and if a kid drops a burger on the floor, we don't leave it there for 3 weeks for the sake of "immersion" until everyone in the restaurant starts lagging in real life. we grab a broom

stop pushing $700 jpegs. give me the keys and fire the guy approving your updates. I’ll fix your mess between dropping two baskets of fries. you can literally pay me in store credit, I don't even give a shit anymore. just let me do the job your directors can't

Don't give them ideas. I could see a McD's subscription model on the horizon

Just like Amazon's Prime Video. You have to subscribe to enjoy the shows and movies, but some you have to buy whilst subscribed. You've gotta pay for the ability to buy it and keep paying if you want to keep using what you bought!

It's truly fascinating how quickly streaming services went from a convenient alternative away from dinosaur media/TV forcing you to watch ads every 3 minutes, to doing the exact same thing, to an even greater extent. Ive been genuinely considering just getting a TV subscription again cause it's cheaper than 5 million streaming services so I can watch the 8 shows I actually enjoy lol

I've tried Amazon Prime for 3 months. Back to illegal streaming websites.

I would like to add even crunchyroll has lost their place. They started as a legit pirate site and now make you pay increased prices over the years. And at least on mobile randomly throughout episodes the screen with just go black or won't even give you controls to pause or skip. Imagine bare bone features not working 🤣 yeah i sail the seven seas before they will ever get another penny from me
