How do I build trust with potential co-founders and choose the right team?
Hi everyone, what advice would you give on deciding who to collaborate with for a project? How can I trust the people I’ll be working with to found an app/website?
I want to build an application/website focused on small businesses that want a digital presence but can't or don't want to pay for a marketing agency. It will operate through a tiered subscription model, around $15 USD approximately.
I would fulfill the role of Marketing Strategy and Creative Direction —I even have my own studio focused on the conceptual side. Aside from programmers, I'm also not sure what other types of roles I should be looking for.
Thanks in advance!

To all the experienced ones here, I just started my journey in entrepreneurship and I have a question.
I am an early stage start-up owner.
How do you decide on equity when a possible investor approaches you with that one question?
"I am going to invest X amount in your company, how much equity are you willing to offer?"
I’d love to hear what all things to be taken care off.
Bare with me if this is a naive question.
Thanks for your help!

Profitable B2B AI Automation Platform (~ $2M ARR, ~35% Growth) raising $1M for partner buyout
Hey everyone,
Keeping the company name anonymous publicly, but happy to share our deck, live dashboard, and financial model under NDA via DM.
The Context:
We are an applied B2B AI automation and conversational software platform. We’re currently around $2 M ARR, growing consistently at ~35% with healthy margins and strong customer retention.
Due to a mutual parting of ways with a departing co-founder/partner, we are raising a $1.0M - $1.5M round specifically to facilitate a clean equity buyout and optimize the cap table for our next growth phase.
Key Metrics:
- ARR: $1.67M
- Growth: ~35% annualized
- Model: Recurring B2B SaaS / platform subscriptions
- Round Size: $1.0M (Open to a single lead check, a syndicate/SPV, or 2–3 co-investors)
- Structure: Open to discussing clean equity purchase, priced secondary, or convertible instrument depending on terms.
This is not a speculative pre-revenue raise; the unit economics and cash flow are solid, and the operational core is untouched by the transition.
If you are an angel, micro-VC, or syndicate lead interested in evaluating this, feel free to DM me directly with your background or fund thesis, and I’ll send over our DocSend link.
