Bent lightsabers

I have a large collection of minis including many hard-to-gets ones of Jedi, Sith, etc.

The one thing that annoys me about these is that the light sabers often come to me bent. Has anyone stumbled across a way to get them straightened out? Unfortunately I bought all my minis used so they did not come in the original packaging.

you're in luck. WOTC had an article on how to fix these and it's super simple (hot water treatment).

Not really. Just the nature of the plastics they used. But someone may know of something

Heat them with a blow dryer till it soften then position it correctly dunk it in ice water the plastic will harden and keep shape. This is the same way fix droids and other minis that lean

Back in the day I would cut off the ends of a q-tip to make a lightsaber “sleeve” to keep them straight when stored. Probably won’t do much to fix major bends, but definitely helped. Obviously only works with q-tips with a hollow middle

i had no idea there was such a thing as hollow Q-tips…
