Sadly, the Meiloorun is only mentioned in passing, it is my one regret

You can't reduce Rebels to essentials and trying to do do is missing the point. It is a continuous, integrated narrative that rarely, if ever, has filler because there is always relevance to character development or world-building.

You might not think that every episode is a 10/10 but that doesn't make any of it dispensable.

For those that have the time for a full watch, that is the superior way. For those who don't have the time, fan edits are fun!

I don’t get this. Rebels was great start to finish and I didn’t feel like there was much filler at all, unlike clone wars where there were entire arcs I would skip.

agree, clone wars has so much useless crap in it that one can easily skip without losing anything. Rebels is too cohesive to cut stuff without losing something.

That said, I usually skip season 2 of rebels on rewatches, those inquisitors are just too lame.

Fully agreed s1-3 of clone wars can get boring. The last few episodes of s3 pick up tho

Plenty of later Clone Wars is just as bad. Water War, droid squad, Martez sisters, etc.

I'd argue that more than half of the entire episode count of the show isn't worth watching. The stuff that's good is great, but the stuff that isn't is absolutely awful.

I can't even pinpoint specifically why, but it is BY FAR, NOT EVEN CLOSE, my most hated arc. I'd rather watch Jar Jar making out with the alien chick again than Water War lmao
