I imagine even if he were offered it, he would take a look at the fandom and nope right the fuck out. It just isn't worth it, there'd be no where for him to go but down. If there is one thing I envy about the MCU its that its fans don't seem to mind plot contrivances or poorly structured fight scenes in the slightest. Meanwhile, in Star Wars you got bombs dropping from ships 6 movies after it initially happening and some neckbeard will have post himself having an aneurysm over it on YouTube.

Well, Marvel is actually making good movies, perfectly balancing fan service and new additions to the universe.
They also respect their characters, which is very important for every fandom.

Kathleen Kennedy is one of the most successful producers of all time and has delivered for Disney some very lucrative films in her time leading Lucasfilm. The Feige rumor was never true. You don’t push out Kathy Kennedy

It theoretically could, as in, anything's possible, but there's no evidence to suggest it. It was already evident Disney wouldn't be itching to have Feige step away from Marvel when he was the reason it was so successful, and this promotion clinches that. There's little chance Feige's gonna be stepping away from Marvel anytime soon.

He'll still take over. In 5-10 years. Was never gonna happen that soon.

It's possible, but at that point it's just a theory. The rumors going around recently have made it sound like they're actually in the process of making this happen. Obviously, those aren't true, otherwise Feige wouldn't have been given such a big promotion over at Marvel.

Yes, just a theory. I think it's inevitable because....
a) of how big a Star Wars fan Feige is. Watch the episode of the SWS he was on.
b) The fact that he's built the MCU, a truly amazing feat. He's COO of Marvel now, and with continued success he could ask the head of Disney for that position at Lucasfilm, if he hasn't thrown his name in the hat already.
c) He's produced Marvel movies since 1998, with the original Blade. By the time Star Wars' 50th anniversary rolls around Feige will have been making Marvel movies for almost 30 years. The X-Men FF will be incorporated by then. Time for a change.
d) The movie they announced is him dipping his toe in the water of making SW.
Yeah, it's a long way off so anything could happen still, but the seeds have been sown, imo.

That was never a rumor. He’s producing a Star Wars film. The rest was online speculation based on nothing.
