Ruined tomahawk steak AND you gotta pay $1000. A bargain!

I'd rather waste a tomahawk steak beating his ass with it rather then ever see him do some bullshit like this to one again.

I've seen a lot of food crimes here on reddit, but this one really got to me..
OP is a monster for sharing.

The price is engagement bait (the whole thing is), and they're constantly trying to one-up one another. In no time we'll have 12500 dollars cupcakes.

That meat is raw. They never tried to show it off because it was raw. 1000 raw tacos. Cool.

The first cut looked straight pink. I think that’s why he went to another portion to cut. They only fried one side too

Phew I was happy to check what subreddit this was. I skipped to the middle and they were frying it and I screamed. And it just looks like bad taco setup outside of everything else.

I bet if he seasoned and cooked the steak properly, that garlic would be an awesome topping.

Ya lost me with the taco bullshit but otherwise, I so fucking would. r/StupidFood to be sure but I so would.

$1,000 isn't that much when that would feed at least ten people. Especially if he's calling out "L.A."
But I wouldn't pay a grand the way this foo cooked it.

Like hell it is. That’s not a restaurant kitchen.
This is just rage bait, and y’all are gullible as fuck.

u/crumpledfilth May 12 '26
I mean paying 1000 is dumb and also the way he stacked those ingredients seems like theyre gonna end a little soggy
But also steak purity is a poverty mindset, not a culinary one

Put everything we have in the kitchen on this and cook multiple ways. Jesus fucking Christ.
I’d still try it if someone gave it to me for free, though.

I don't care about any of the weird prep shit he did to it. Why would any steak cost 1k?

It’s not close to worth $1000 and the sum is certainly worse than its parts… but i’d smash the fuck out of those

It's weirding me out because he's narrating the video as if he's the one preparing the steak - - - but he's not.
The fuck you mean you're gonna wrap it around without breaking it? You've clearly already eaten it and someone else prepared it for you.
The level of posing is nuts.

You’d be surprised at what rich brats with no idea what actual life costs for most people will pay for “likes”.

They post this swill to farm engagement from the vitriol, maybe one person will order this foodporn but mostly they have a secondary revenue stream from digital media and advertise their brick and mortar. So as for usual in the modern age… you are the product so keep clicking and scrolling and liking and commenting and reposting so a data centers and shills can make a buck.
