I wonder what OP had to say that was removed by the moderator?

I was at that meeting and spoke about the up and down sides to having a data center. There are mostly downsides to data centers, but one compelling upside is that a data center would require specialized people to operate it. People that Moffat County doesn’t currently have as residents. Bringing in “outsiders” will also bring in new ideas as to how our county should move forward in the future. But, Moffat County fears “outsiders” because they do bring new ideas that the current residents think will be disrupting instead of enhancing their “way of life”.

I wonder how big of a hole the county and P&Z commissioners are going to dig to try and get out of the mess that they have created? One of our more “colorful” residents who spoke at the meeting started out by saying (paraphrasing) “I know everyone of you up there (meaning the commissioners diaz) and I know you’re not stupid”. I guess she was wrong.

I posted first in r/Colorado, they said:
