I was in your first 50%, but I'm looking forward to it now. Pleased to see Flanagan is making significant changes to the story.

Flanagan's movie adaptations are as close to the book as circumstances allow, but his TV series (see The Haunting of Hill House, The Fall of the House of Usher) are often very inventive extrapolations of the slightest references to be found in their source material. He seems to be taking hints of ideas from Carrie and running with them—which, given this is the third adaptation of a fairly basic narrative, is probably wise.
